What’s UP?
It’s funny to learn foreign languages as u can communicate in it, reading in it and get more information by it.
I like surfering on-line, especially seeking every kind of views about China from western website. U never know how far China goes in the world if u don’t get more from outside. But what angered me these days is the totally bias report on Lhasa Root.
What’s democracy? What’s freedom? If to new another group of Iraki is its concerns. We, at least all the peace-loving people don’t need it. I don’t know much on politics, but I certainly believe that the unity issue is our China’s internal affairs. Have no idea how those”GENIUS”treated it with the Olympics as one. It’s meaningless to damage China’s internal image by it, on the contrary, nowadays, more and more Chinese at home and abroad take action to defend our own motherland.
When western nation-class media boasted the Tibet issue on 3/14. How hit China in western forum! The most frequent words is “BOYCOTT”, boycott all MAKE-IN-CHINA, boycott Beijing Olympics. Perhaps, they only free to express themselves. It’s fine. But please, those the public figures pay close attention on their words when they don’t know the truth, but just caring about their so-called freedom of speech. It is not freedom that for them to used for hurting. It just let the western democracy go into a wrong way.
There is no CarreFour nearby, and the nearest western shopping mall-Wal Mart is also miles away. So I don’t have to think about being a rational patriot or being a reckless netizen. But it’s no doubt that we MUST stand up to make our voice louder. How “CALM” those who told the public it’s useless. I read an article on boycotting Chinese products in U.S. B4. They had a try how life went without made-in-China FOR A MONTH, and found out that it’s difficult. To some extent, we don’t come out against all those produces, but just to press our discontentment and anger this moment and let the foreigners hear our louder voice. Don’t say that it’s useless while the French officials took some actions.
I do really be proud of those oversea Chinese who took part in the marches. They can read our mind. And they also well know that only the statement from government is not enough, the democracy country need the public’s voice better.
