Want to say (Part three)

In the following days, they got along well together. Michelle helped Jack with the washing and cooking. For Jack, she was cute, like his little sister. He sheltered her, bought her things and took her out. She even went to his office many times. Certainly, Michelle liked him as he was really his brother. It was sometime before Jack learned that Michelle really had a brother.
“I lost my brother in the crowd when I was a child.”
“Brother? Can I help you? It’s not so difficult for a cop to find a person.”
“No, thanks.” sighed Michelle.
“Don’t you miss him?”
“Of course I do, very much, but not now. If he discovers what I did, what will he feel? I don’t want to disappoint him.”
There were regrets in her eyes. Jack knew it. He wanted to do something for her.

Back to the office, Jack typed her full name “Michelle Lee” into the computer to search her background and identity.
“Original name: Jenny Lau”
These four words made Jack’s heart ache. How could that happen?
Based on the information, he hurried to the orphanage Michelle used to stay. Looking at her childhood photo, Jack was thrown into extreme confusion.

Memory rolled back on Jack’s mind. It was 20 years ago. He saw a small boy and a little girl, larking about on the street. They were brother and sister.
“Jenny, stay here. I go there to buy icecream. OK?”
“OK.” nodded the girl.
Unfortunately, when the boy came back, the girl wasn’t there. He lost her.

Since then, there wasn’t a day but yearnings within Jack. Now his own sister was Michelle, a lady who now lived with him. What could he do? Tell her? Without much thinking, towards home He just ran and ran and ran…

The moment Jack saw her, he hug her affectionately.
“What happened, Jack?” said Michelle. She was at a loss. “I was looking for you. I wanna tell you that I’m leaving.” At this time, her smile had a kind of apology. Jack didn’t notice that.
He looked at her eyes and said, “Michelle, I want to tell you something. Don’t go…” His cellphone rang before he could tell Michelle what happened. It was a call from his colleagues. Something emergent happened. They had got the location of Tony Chong, the drug dealer. He needed to get after Tony. “Michelle, stay here till I come back. I really want to tell you something important. Stay home, OK?” Jack’s voice was appealing. But Michelle seems queer. She was asking him not to go.
“It’s dangerous. Don’t go.”
“It’s my job. I won’t be hurt, OK? I promise. Stay here till I come back.”
“Listen to me, Jack. Don’t go. Just don’t go. Jack.”
“Be good. I’ll come back soon.”
Jack hurried out. Uncommonly, Michelle looked nervous.
