Stop and Enjoy
On the road to our goals we are always living for particular destinations. In most part of our life we are too busy to have a better view of it. We ignore many beauties just around us because we have no time to notice them. I must say it is the biggest pity of our life.
I remember one essay named Relish the Moment, beautifully written by Robert J. Hasting tells us the similar philosophy: don’t live in the illusion of our future and today is the only thing you get so you just stop and enjoy the kindness and beauty of life. Or you will lose a lot. In the modern society where the pace of life is now becoming faster and faster, the closeness to nature and the gentle pace of living are almost luxuries we are easily confused by what we really want. We desire for an ideal world where life is slower and people are not in such a hurry. But that can’t happen because no matter who you are you can’t divert the tendency of the history. The only thing we can do is adapt ourselves to the fasting-moving society without losing most of the beauties. The simplest way is to give yourself some time to stop and enjoy.
