Childhood

I have found something very interesting. When you are still a child, you want to grow up very fast. You may even dream that one day after wake up, you have become an adult. However, when you are an adult, you will suddenly want to go back to childhood and enjoy those cherished memory. I’m this kind of person mentioned before.

When I was a child, everything is controlled by my parents. If I want to do something, first I had to ask for their permission. I felt like a prisoner who didn’t have freedom at all. At that time, my birthday wishes were always “Grow up faster and faster”. My dream comes true, and I’m a lady now, far way from my parents. I needn’t ask for their permission, needn’t follow what they want me to do, needn’t lie to them to get the money for snack, and needn’t do lots of stuff. However, I gradually begin to cherish the memory of my childhood, which may be the most beautiful period of my life. I can cry when I felt sad, laugh when I was happy. Now I have to wear fake expression on my face or pretend to be friendly with the person who I actually hate very much. I’m so tired of this kind of life.
