Mahatma Gandhi

Undoubtedly, mahatma Gandhi was both a political and a religious figure in India history, especially during the awfully tough period of Indian people fighting for their independence.
image.jpgAfter his graduation as a low major, expectantly,Gandhi started his career with being a ordinary or maybe extraordinary lawyer for British empire and felt quite satisfied with it then. But what he suffered during one of his many business journey in South Africa thoroughly changed his mind. Realizing what injustice and inequality Indian people were facing, Gandhi were determined to do something. As a certain result, he put himself in prison for quite a few years.
To be followed, he returned toIndiaand began to think about the future of his own country while most of the others were still feeling proud of being a part of British empire. He then travelled all over India to find out exactly what his country was suffering presently.
Afterwards, he began to organized Indian people with his agitative writing and provocative public speeches. Knowing how powerful his enemy was, Gandhi insisted Indian people take the non-violent policy , the best way to avoid riot and the countless death following.
During the less cruel but tough still fight, Gandhi made himself a saddhu much more than a leader of an independence movement. For more than one time, Gandhi used his fast to stop Indian people from fighting back the British administration and later their religious opposites .But what was the power that drove our Gandhi to keep doing these?Faith, duty or obligation? We don’t know. The only thing I can feel is that while doing this Gandhi was confident of having everything under control, or he could not wait to succeed every time.
Mahatma Gandhi, who was assassinated soon after theIndia’s independence, left the world a great legend forever.
