Every dog will have its day

Once I had a small turtle, but a few weeks later, it died. It didn’t starve to death, but died of thirst. When I found it lying in the small basin, quiet and motionless, the body had turned cold No water was in the basin. Suddenly, a sob came up into my throat and shook me. I asked myself:” Why did you bring it back home? Why don’t you take care of it? This is a life, don’t you know?” I remember some trees I had planted, after a few days, turned yellow and finally died. My brother, though much younger than me could do these far better than me. The thought which went through my mind at last was: I’m a failure, I can’t do anything.
silas-at-sign.jpgI totally don’t understand why I was so disappointed and frustrated at that time, and even thought of myself as a loser. Maybe I was just childish. Now I never have this idea. There is no loser in the world. We can’t regard someone who is dad at something as a loser; we should know she or he must have a talent for something.
Then what can we do to overcome such disappointment and frustration? Everyone all can look for a thing to compose, to change our attention. For me, I will stay alone, be far away from a scene of bustle and excitement, read novels or see terribly dreadful films. They work so well, which make me feel better.
Whenever we are in trouble, we should remember “when half-gods go, the gods arrive”.
