Modern transportation, telecommunication, and mass-communication methods make the world smaller and smaller. And international society is just like a globe village, in which people from every country smoke the calumet together, respect each other and develop together between the exchange and clash of different cultures.
I’m for the view that national culture of modern society can’t develop in the condition of isolation. In my opinion, different cultures should learn each others, so as to learn from other’s strong points to offset one’s weakness. Of course, in the extensive culture exchange, the culture of one nation must maintain its own vivid characteristic. I believe that culture exchange is not to lose one’s own culture, but to enrich the cultures of every nation in the world.
