Camping is not so bad

“It’s getting cold here.” I murmured. No one seems hared me.There were four of us, Angela, Roy, Daniel and I. Roy had bought a new tent recently, and he insisted on go camping this weekend. Such idea never appealed to me. I hate sleep outside, and I hate all the stupid work to erect a tent. But Daniel was quite interested in this. Imagine the picture of he and Angela watching stars under the sky, around the fire, it turned my eyes into green. Wait, did I forget about Roy? And did I forget about to mention that Angela was my best friend, who is much more lively than me?

Anyway, now we had erected the tent besides the river, which was near the so-called mountain, a small hill in fact. Even I didn’t do anything, the long trip already exhausted me, hunger, tiredness, and coldness all came to me. But I strived to keep my tender smile, and I began to heat up the food which I prepared for a long time. Soon the smell of bacon and fish was around us. Daniel took a taste and said, “Great. I’ve never know that you are such a good cooker.” Of course it was great, just think about the whole afternoon I spent in the kitchen. But I answered with a semi smile, “Thanks. I guess my apple pie would taste much better.”

Watching he wolf down these food, I can’t help to think that camping was not so bad, or maybe it would turn into a good thing?
