Black Friday is no longer black

Many people will probably feel sick and even disgusted when hearing the word “Black Friday”. Why? If you were not in United States, you may have no idea how terrible Black Friday is. Black Friday, the day after Thanksgiving in US, is the beginning of traditional Christmas shopping season. Even though it is not an official holiday, many employers still give the day off so that they can grasp their favorite merchants or discounted products. On the other hand, many retailers have been longing for this special day for a whole year, because on that day they can highly increase their sales and attract more consumers.

I want to talk about my own experience about “Black Friday”. Last year, I went to USA to visit my friends and the next day happened to be Black Friday. My friend and I stood in line at the store at 4:30a.m, just for a laptop on sale. We were then in the middle of the line but it seemed to me that the line extended into the sky, many people were surrounding us which made me feel breathless. I can say it was the most horrible day in my life, time passed so slowly that I had kind of feeling that black Friday would never end. And I would drown in endless waiting and circle…

When I began to prepare for black friday 2008, I found quite a useful site which is called BlackFriday.info. This site let people purchase Black Friday items online, which can save you lots of trouble and time. The site also offers email alerts that let you know when new Black Friday ads have been posted so that you can purchase discounted merchants as soon as possible. I’m planning to buy some toys on Toy’s R Us for my little cousin and he will definitely love them. I feel that my Black Friday is no longer black, is no longer my nightmare. I love shopping on Black Friday!
