When Ryan announced that David Cook was the winner of 2008 American Idol, I just couldn’t believe my ear, because as far as I am concerned, David Archulata should be crowned the champion instead of David Cook.
Judge Randy said D.A.’s performance was flawless and unbelievably molten hot, and his vocal was crazy, and he was what all American Idols were about.
Judge Paula said D.A.’s performance was stunning, and it reached the culmination of the night. Even Sarcastic Judge Simon Cowell said D.A. was absolutely the winner of 2008 American Idol. D.A. got the highest evaluation from the Judges, and got the loudest scream from the girls. He was endowed with the all the quality which was required to be American Idol, but out of everyone’s expectation, D.A. was not the winner. Even the fans of D.C. felt shocked, because they’ve never thought that D.C. will win.
Just like Simon said before, “it is not a competition of talent; it is a competition of popularity.” Yeah, D.C. got most of the votes from American people, and he should be the winner, no matter how he performed in the finale.
Everything was just so unpredictable recently in the American audition, such as:
1. From 5 to 4 elimination in American Idol: Brook White was out and Syesha was in.
2. The champion battle in America’s next top model: Anya was out and Whitney was the winner (I don’t like Whitney at all, neither her personality nor her appearance).
3. D.C. was the winner of 2008 American Idol and D.A. was just the second place finalist.
And I am gonna say,” Maybe we will be the next Chinese Idols.” Haha, don’t let go our dream
