Do not give anybody advice until asked. Don’t pretend to be all-knowing and all-powerful because nobody can be that way.The sad truth is if you frequently give your friends your minds, as time passes by, you will eventually be isolated. In most cases even your advice is really helpful your friends may not accept them for they sometimes prefer to accomplish their own business in their own way. That is to say, your advice is not welcome even to your closest friends.
By saying not giving advice to other people easily I didn’t mean you should care about your friends. It is just about when to give them and how to give them. If your friends are asking you for advice you should try your best to give some hearty suggestion from your experience. Otherwise, you’d better keep your mouth shut.
Our friends don’t need us to tell them how to do this or how to do that. Sometimes they just need our support.
